I have been wagering on the net or at land based casinos for a good many years. I have found out, the craving can grab a hold of you and you won’t even see it up till you are broke. Especially if you are on a winning streak. I have gone through uncounted tens of thousands of clams in only a tiny period of time and even still on occasion, I can go too far. It seems you are just enjoying yourself till you decide to track your loss and the guilt sets in, and then you keep advising yourself "I can likely win it back" ad nauseam. It doesn’t work. Then you feel icky in your stomach and the more you try the faster you lose.

When you find that you are ahead, Remain in the Black! When you start to lose, don’t convince yourself, "well just one more" a number of times, trust me, this scheme RARELY ever operates. Say you plan on playing on slot machine games, have a pot set aside prior to beginning your wagering. DON’T go over that cap, regardless of how tempting. If you happen to succeed, put the winnings in a different canister. Don’t spend your profits no matter what. Once you have wagered through your beginning set cutoff, stop. Call it quits, whether it’s on the internet or in a brick and mortar gambling hall, do not stick around. Make sure to remember, there will be other days, other times. Clearly, this tactic is able to function for any game that you play, be it bingo, poker, electronic poker, keno, blackjack or any other casino game.

Remember, gambling should be enjoyable not burdensome, nauseating work! If you are not enjoying yourself, you do not belong at the casinos. If you can’t manage the loss, don’t ever begin.
