If you enjoy having a a cocktail every so often, keep your money at home if you plan to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your purse, your wallet, and keep all money, credit cards and checks out of the casino. Pack only the cash you expect to spend on beverages, tips and whatever pocket change you expect to throw away and leave the rest behind.
Contemptuous? Not by any means. Just realistic. You could have a win following a drunken night out with your acquaintances and be blessed enough to hit a 25 minute toss at a smokin craps game. Keep that adventure because it’s as brief as it gets if you consistently consume alcohol and bet. These activities just don’t go well together.
Keeping your cash back at the hotel is a tiny bit drastic, but preventative measures for excessive behavior is essential. If you play to win, then don’t drink alcohol and bet. If you are able to afford to throw aside your $$$$ without a worry, then drink all the complimentary beer your stomach can handle, but do not pack plastic credit and cheques to toss into the mix of chasing losses after your inebriated head loses everything!
Allow me to take this 1 step more. Don’t consume alcohol and then head on to the internet to bet in your preferred internet casino either. I enjoy a drink from the coziness of my home, however due to the fact that I am linked up through Neteller, Firepay and have charge cards near by, I can not drink and gamble.
How come? Although I don’t consume alcohol a lot, when I consume alcohol, it’s clearly enough to cloud my better judgment. I bet, so I do not drink when betting. If you are a drinker, don’t wager when you do. Both create a ferocious, and costly, cocktail.
